As many of you are aware, the construction of the new Women's and Children's Hospital is set to commence within the perimeter of Bonython Park (where the Mounted Police are presently), and while we're excited for this community-enhancing project, we also want to ensure a seamless experience for all our customers.
Due to the uncertainty surrounding how the hospital construction might affect our operations, we have made the decision not to accept online bookings for parties starting December 18. However, we are committed to providing you with the best possible service and ensuring your celebrations are not disrupted.
Here's how we plan to proceed:
Holding Deposits: If you're interested in booking a party after December 18, we're more than happy to accept a holding deposit to secure your desired date. This deposit will reserve the date for you while we closely monitor the construction progress.
Ongoing Communication: Rest assured that we will be closely monitoring the construction and its potential impact on our party services. We will reach out to each guest who has placed a holding deposit prior to their event to provide updates on the situation and discuss any potential impact.
Smooth Transition: Once we are confident that the construction will not negatively affect our operations, we will convert your holding deposit into an actual party booking. At that point, our usual terms and conditions, including full payment, will apply.
No Impact, Party On!: In the best-case scenario, where the construction has no impact on our party venue, your celebration can proceed as planned. We are optimistic that the building works will have minimal impact within our parklands, but, safety is key.
We understand that this approach might raise some questions, and we're here to address any concerns you may have. Our top priority is to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for you and your guests. Your understanding and cooperation during this period are greatly appreciated.
